INFORMATION PERTINENT TO VILLAGE OF STOCKBRIDGE RESIDENTS:
The Village of Stockbridge provides weekly trash and recycling pick up for residents through contract with Waste Management.
Regular weekly pick up is Monday - please have your carts to the curb by 5 a.m. If the Monday is a holiday, pickup is moved to Tuesday. Click below for printable schedule.
2026 Village Trash & Recycling Schedule
Residents should contact Waste Management directly with service questions. This includes missed pick up or to replace a damaged cart. Call the customer service number (888) 960-0008 or complete a service request online at www.wm.com/us/en/support
Please follow the recycling guidelines outlined in the above website www.calumetrecycles.com, as the product accepted/co-mingled is the same throughout the County. The only difference from the website, is that we have a weekly recycling pick up. Reminder: No bags allowed with recycling!
The Large Item Drop Off for 2026 will be held Saturday, May 2nd. Details of what is accepted & not accepted at the drop off will be posted in early April.
CALUMET COUNTY RECYCLING WEBSITE
In an effort to streamline the recycling, hazardous waste, and garbage disposal information for our residents and businesses, Calumet County has recently launched a new website, www.calumetrecycles.com.
This site contains a variety of useful local recycling, garbage and medication disposal information, including a guide on how to use the curbside bins for residential recycling needs.
Event schedules and locations for hazardous waste disposal and electronics/appliance collection are posted as well, as is the ability to schedule an appointment online for the hazardous waste events.
While an appointment for the hazardous waste events is required, the electronics collection does not require one.
